Deep Thoughts from Elton John and Cat Stevens

Recently, I stumbled across two videos at youtube of a couple of great artists, that stood out not just because of some fine songs, but because of some very thoughtful and moving words that preceded them:

When Bernie wrote the song, we thought things would get better, not worse...well, 30 years on down the line things have gotten worse.
